Till today, Apple has launched iphone 3.0 firmware 5 times, named beta 1 up to beta 5. All for testing purpose mostly for developers.

The final 3.0 ver is gonna be out soon in summer so better wait for that. Its recommended not to mess ur iphone till the final ver comes out. (if you are not a developer or a geek)

For all the unlockers and jailbreakers out there, life is lot easier to stay one step back in firmware updates and uncheck your itunes iphone updates so that they never show up or update your iphone automatically.

Recently faced problem is that iphone 3g can only be unlocked via software till fimrware 2.2 , all other updated iphone 3g owner have to suffer turbo sim / rebel sim which is another pain in the ass if u really wanna make calls out of ur iphone 3g.

For all the original iphone contract sim users out there iphone 3.0 os is really a dream come true, find out how amazing os 3.0 is in the video and future details when you read this complete article.

The sequel to Tap Tap Revenge, the iPhone’s most popular game ever, is hitting the App Store tonight. The original version (iTunes link) of the game has been downloaded over six million times and spawned a number of spinoffs featuring licensed music from Weezer and Nine Inch Nails. You can learn more about the sequel here, and we’ll update the post as soon as it goes live on the App Store. Update: You can download the app here.

The game is expanding its social options, tapping into the iPhone’s network effect to create a ‘Challenge’ system that lets users face off with friends, who attempt to beat each others scores. The game will also include an ‘achievements’ system, and a complimentary new feed for alerts, allowing users to keep track of their friends’ accomplishments. There’s also a “Kids Mode” that offers a more basic version of the game for younger children.
